thanks, all. spooky's story is such a journey--and one that definitely is not over yet. i made 1.5 dolls before lilly belle (!!!! im so excited about her name!) and one was more traditional art doll than this--but this was the one that wanted to be crafted and sent. sometimes our creations--whatever they may be--know better than we do. spooky--i do use real blush on my dolls so you may have to touch her up when she starts to look a little pale!

I got my doll today from mightyminniemouse!!!!

I absolutely LOVE her! I couldn't decide on a name for her, so I put the 2 names I liked into a fairy name generator, and I got a name for her that is quite fitting.

Ember Goblinshimmer
She brings riches and wealth.
She lives where fireflies mate and breed.
She is only seen when the first flowers begin to blossom. (She isn't as shy anymore.)
She wears dresses that glow with fiery colours and has gentle green wings like a butterfly.  (how perfect is that!)

p.s. she also has a wire armature so I can pose her.

These are the extras a crochet hat & hand warmers, & ribbon. I love these my hands do get cold in the winter especially when I'm on the CP & they'll be used a lot!

First, the doll by mmm is so lovely and colorful. What great hair, too!

"dressaadoll" your doll is very pretty!     "mightyminniemouse" up did a great job on her & the cute fan I think on her tummy is it printed on or separate? The face is sculpted right? It's great!!

I just received my hippie doll,and she is fabulous. Sharalee, I still can't find my camera and don't want to use the web cam. I am expecting a camera phone. Can you post pics of this gorgeous doll. You detail work is great and how you sculpted a face that tiny is amazing. I will still try to find that pesky camera. I swear it must have grown wings.

The center piece I actually found in a scrapbooking store, where I also found the pink Angelina that I used in the hair. The face is sculpted, but I'm not really as happy with it now as I was when I sent it
