I can't see the photo Dr. Craft. I'm really interested to see them.

Those pears are beautiful and the twinchies are very cute Smiley

I received my package from Goddessgarb over the weekend and I just love the inchies that she sent me. Each one is a wonderful work of watercolor art. I also like her choice of "theme and variation" -- a series of pears in different "attitudes". Really lovely. Thanks so much Satina.
You're so welcome.  I'm glad you like them!  They were exactly what I wanted to make when I was inspired by your 'fruit' theme, and this swap kicked my butt into sitting down and making art again, which is why I joined it in the first place, so I'm happy.   Smiley

Here are the unbelievable inchies and twinchies that I received from seeuudee this weekend.
She stitched each tiny piece of felt and included the names of the stitches. So cool!

Makes me want to drag out my embroidery books and get to work.
Thanks so much Gini!

Do you cut the inchies/rinchies/twinchies out first, and then decorate them? Or decorate them, then cut them out? I started cutting some shapes out, but have found out that it's kind of hard to hold them still while I'm decorating them. I had thought about drawing a grid out and filling them in before I cut them out, but am scared that I will cut into the image. I guess I'll try both, but was just wondering what techniques you all use...

Wow, all these wonderful inchies: the colorful pears, the incredibly neat embroidery, the mixed-media ones...

I hope there will be another round as I am still working on the zine swap. I am itching to do inchies again.

meowari - I always cut them out first, then decorate, as I would be terrified of damaging them by cutting them out afterwards. The only time I don't is if I am creating a set of linked inchies, then I always cut very carefully!!  Wink

Thank you for the embroidery love! When I packaged them up, I mentioned to hubby that I am really out of practice with my embroidery!! I guess we are always our own worst critic! I am so glad you liked them Smmarrt.  Grin

I received rinchies (and some extra inchies) from Nilmerg/Elaine last night and they are really impressive -- fun and very artistic. She took my animal/farm theme and did something I couldn't have imagined, but I love:

Sorry for the blurry photos. I'm getting a new camera for my birthday (which is tomorrow). I'll try to replace those when next weekend.

Thanks, Jan

I received from Nilmerg today!  I got 2 extra ones, too.  I have to guess at what themes, since she chose several and didn't tell me which was which, but I'm pretty sure most are color themed, and then there are the two moveable parts ones.

They're wonderful!  I love the bright, crisp lines and colors, the indigo one is so clever, and those moveable ones are awesome.  My favorite is that one in the lower corner, the paisley-like moveable gears.  I love the subtle black edging which will make them look wonderful on a black mat.  Thanks Nilmerg!  And what cute extra-extra recycled inchies on the card, too!
