This summer I had an open house and erected some fairy houses, a gnome home, a troll hole and other spots around my property for people to gander at. The president of my local arts council stopped by and mentioned that perhaps the wee folk might want to make a journey over to our towns arts and culture center.

And so, this morning an exciting 'discovery' was made.

My township is small (around 5,000 people in the actual town and another 5,000 in the surrounding township) and our "new" art centre is actually the old driving range with a three season uninsulated building and over-grown mini-putt course next door. Thankfully fairies rather like tall grass and overgrown scrubby areas Wink

*This nest of goblin eggs is one of my favourite things because those gourds are actually called goblin eggs!

There's a lot more going on over there... charms hanging from trees, a little zip line, rock drawings... but you get the idea Smiley

it makes me think so much of when i was a little kid and my mom and i would make fairy houses for when it would start to rain, we would even set up little firepits for them and chairs and stuff like that
