You can achieve really cool transfers with polymer clay using rub-on tattoos. The trick is to seal them BETWEEN layers of translucent clay, rather than on top of, to protect during baking.

--i use Sculpey Premo Translucent as my personal favorite
--apply the tattoo as you would your skin--face down on clay, wet sponge on back, slide of paper
--let the water dry off the clay
--seal with a top THIN-THIN-THIN layer of clay
--add some leafing between the two layers (before u seal with top layer) to achieve the look here:


Make it, thrift it, mend it, or make-do without it!

That's pretty darn cool. The more I hang out on these boards the more I want to get me some polymer clay, it's building up to an obsession now.  Grin
