I hosted a bridal shower for my niece, this past weekend.  I love all the paper pom poms, and garlands, I've seen lately.  So, I thought I'd put my spin on some for the shower.  The first was a cupcake line garland.  I wanted to do something just a little different with the cupcake liners:]

It's really as easy as it looks: red regular-sized liners (folded in half); white mini-size (folded in half); a white card stock "bodice" hotglued between the two liners; a small piece of white ribbon for the top tie, 2 scraps of checked card stock for pockets, and checkered ribbon glued at the waist to string the aprons out for the garland.  Super Simple!


For my niece's name garland, I wanted something slightly larger.  So, I decided to use paper napkins, and a doily, with letters I printed on Cardstock:


I simply made paper fans from the dark red, and gingham checked napkins, used the same white cardstock bodices and ribbons as the cupcake garland, and cut a paper doily in half.  I used white satin ribbon at the waist to string the aprons together:
