Quite some time ago now, (it's taken me a long time to think to post this) I got my craft group interested in making some pillowcases for the "One Million Pillowcase Challenge". Maybe you've heard of it?? Anyway, i think they turned out pretty cool! They weren't hard to make at all and once we got the hang of it they went pretty fast. We donated these to our church for one of the programs they have where families come to stay for a week at a time and attend classes and counseling. They'll be nice for the kids, i think because they're bright and colorful.
It was a fun project and we all learned a thing or two. I want to make some for us at home now!
  thanks for taking a look!

These are great!  Good cause too.  I found a tutorial on YouTube from the Missouri Quilt Co. that did one on pillowcases. Since seeing that video, I have been making them on my off days to give as Christmas presents. =) I love them!  They'lre fool proof and look amazing when you're done.
