I'm not 100% sure this is the correct board for this....since I made him out of salt dough. Though I used the same techniques if I'd used clay so it was my best guess.  Undecided

Anyways...

...I made him for the Mabon swap and I am super happy with how he came out. Like I said, I used salt dough as my sculpting medium. After drying in the oven I used acrylic paint glazes and finished him with a clear varnish. I had a lot of fun with this and I want to do all four seasons now. Smiley

Also I use Thick and Quick Diamond Glaze as a varnish. I love that it gives a "glazed" look to the piece too and it adds a really nice depth to the piece too. I recommend trying it out sometime for projects. I use it on all sorts of things.
