I'm looking for an app that would be good for stock control or inventory at markets.
It needs to have:
- photo of item
- price of item
-quantity in stock
-quantity sold

As extras (not necessarily needed)
-If sold at a sale price
-tally for each day/date

Thanks in advance

I haven't heard of any but that doesn't mean anything at all! I'm curious to hear an answer as well.

Well, I am not sure if there is anything out there that does exactly what you are looking for - but I can tell you what I use (and I LOVE my system).  I have an iPhone and use Paypal's card swiper and app.  It is free to use and does the following:
- allows you to accept all credit cards, checks, paypal, and cash
-automatically add appropriate tax (adjustable if you show in multiple states)
- keeps tally of all purchases (items and monetary) for day, week, month year

You can pre set the items up so you can merely select an item and the price will tally or you can set it so you will manually enter the price of each item.  It does have categories as well.

I do not believe there is an option for pictures or quantities in stock but I could be wrong.  Hope this is helpful!

I did find one called "Inventory" that's free.
It's very basic (I haven't checked out the paid version yet)

It has a pop-up add when you first open it, that looks like a notification.

You can add your product with an image, Name, Code, Opening Quantity & Description.
Then there is an inward section, outward section & reports. The reports shows each item & the quantity added or sold on different dates (& it shows the dates)

Square basically lets you do these things. Square has a card reader, like PayPal, but they do charge marginally more than PP (.05% more per transaction). The card reader is free and arrives very quickly in the mail.

With Square, you can create an entire online inventory complete with pictures and descriptions to make ringing up items easy. You can also add other users as mobile members of your sales team. For example, my sister is part of my 'staff,' so she can ring someone up for me at a craft fair if I'm busy. All she has to do is match up the correct item and add it to the sale - I can even set up the correct tax rate for the transaction!

Sqaure also lets you manage your inventory for cash sales, and allows you to email or text a receipt to your customer.
