This was for week #1 of PR&P, where you were supposed to use cuts on a bias.  I did a circle skirt, doubled up, ran stitching lines across the bias and cut in between them.  They will fray nicely.  The sequined piece is a purchased appliqu.  It is sewed on very wellthat took about 2 hours.

This is for week #2 of Project Run and Play, the challenge was to sew something inspired by a fashion icon.  I was looking more for designers that inspire me, and no one inspires me more than Alexander McQueen.

The fabric is painted, took me about 4 hours and is my own design.  The frosting on the cake are little iron on skulls in cream.  Alexander McQueen used a lot of skull motifs in his work.

Then here are just some basic wardrobe pieces for school. I did it in a S.W.A.P. so everything would match.  She is pretty happy with them. Smiley

Patterns are my own.

Thanks for looking and any comments!

Awesome!  My 6yo daughter would just about die for the coat.  I haven't gotten brave enough to attempt a coat yet though.
