Hi.  I am making coffee mug cozies for my coworkers.  I almost almost finished, but am having trouble understanding the ending directions for the part of the cozy that slips around the button.  Anyway, if anyone could explain what I am supposed to be doing on the last part, I would really appreciate it!

Here is an example of what I am trying to make.

Here are the instructions I need help with:
Row 17: (Sc, ch 1, sc) in first stitch, sc across to last st in the row (sc, ch 1, sc) in last st; sc evenly down the edge, across the 3 base sts and up the other edge. Sl st to join in the first sc, SK st in same st. Fasten off and weave in end.

Hello!

I'm more than happy to help you figure out where you are confused.  Can you tell me what is going wrong for you?
