These are some pictures of my Raven costume I made last year.
Figured I would get them posted. Enjoy!

Also, comments are much appreciated.

You look awesome! I don't know the character but the costume looks excellent (gorgeous cloak!) and the photoshoot really shows it off well.

i made the red things out of resin with a mold and the gold part is paperclay.

This is epicly awesome.

Want to know what the bodysuit is made out of - its not latex I know cause it clings differently.

Kudos on figuring a way to do her 'peak', (even though it obscures the 'gem' - its worth it to make the peak look that natural.)

Definite points for the accoutrements, nice clear, iconic, no fuss. Definitely casting the gems was the only way to go. And of course definite points for a decent cloak - it drapes in the front nicely.

This is awesome cause its pretty much the visual style of the cartoon - nice, simple, clean clear lines, bold shapes. It's very easy to get bogged down by details, and you hit all the points without making this fussy. Very nice job.

Osiris Cultist: Ohh. Fill the Jackal's head with OIL. Now it makes sense! At first I thought you said scalding hot 'voile'.
Osiris High Priest: What the hell is voile?
Osiris C.: It's a soft, sheer fabric. I warmed some up in the dryer.
Osiris HP: What kind of torture is that!?!

The belt itself is made of leather and I used angelos leaather paint for the goldness. Highly suggest this stuff.
The fabric is black spandex vinyl.
As far as the peak goes, I love the way it ended up looking and thank you for all of the positive comments. Cheesy

You look like the bomb, it's totally awesome. Honestly, you look just like what I'd imagine Raven to be. Love that you kept the piercing since it totally looks like something she'd have.
