Not only did AntiDigger send me the cutest octopus based off of things I super duper like, she sent me lots of extras and even made a specimen jar for the little octopi! I have one of those grow animal octopi in a specimen jar that I love, to put into perspective the amount of research she did when she sent my package

Minecraft ornament for troublet

i'm been working on this in doctors waiting rooms, and everyone asks what it is, then says that it's cute...i'm not sure if creepers are actually meant to be cute characters but he is fun.

the panels are created with perler beads (i used my kids huge stash they hadn't touched in months) it goes faster if you sort out your colors ahead of time, and if you have several of the forms to build your panels on.

the pattern i found online had notched edges so you could snap them together, but mine didn't fit, then broke when i forced them so i used thread to stitch the panels together, then hot glue at the end to make it extra secure.

i hope your son likes him, my son does and he hasn't played minecraft.

Custom Harry Potter Ornament for indigo_roses
She requested an ornament less than 3" and told me her favorite house, and characters. I chose to make a phoenix from clay. i started with red sculpty and painted gold highlights , i poked a hole in it before baking so i could add wire and beads for the tail, but when i tried adding them, the clay tail feathers cracked off.   he's still cute but i wasn't sure if he was up to travel.

so he will be nesting in my tree, and i tried again with some filmo polymer clay that i had on hand. after baking it is a little flexible, more like plastic, so i didn't have trouble with anything breaking. i actually started off with gold clay this time, and painted over it with a slightly metallic red. i really liked how it turned out, and i'm hoping he travels well.

this finishes off my claims and recipts for this swap!

I finally got the snowflakes that indigo_rose sent me blocked.  Just in time for Christmas!  Wow, that was a chore!  I can see why she didn't want to do them!  lol!
