I don't think I'll be able to participate this coming round. I'm on a swap hiatus until the finances become a little nicer. I'm still planning on keeping up with the thread, though!

Agreed! If you aren't planning on doing much bookbinding in the next couple years, it might not be worth buying a whole bottle (unless you want to offer your leftover PVA in your STS shop... Wink

). But because it's thicker than Elmer's, it doesn't make paper wrinkle/warp quite as much, which is a big plus.

Non-adhesive options include using your sewing machine, or connecting the pages with grommets, though those aren't the most subtle options. But more subtle than, say, duct tape (which I have used to bind books once in a while).

I might be doing a couple in this style, big but only really fits like 1 pocket right on the inside due to the pleated style if anyone is interested. I have been pinning on Pinterest like mad for ideas of things to make, just haven't actually done all of them yet!
