Would anyone like to knit me a monkey beanie? My son wants something with a monkey on it.

I was thinking of this pattern http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/a-dish-monkey but maybe in colourwork instead of texture. Maybe texture would be nice too, though. His favourite colour is green and he's twelve. It's a ravelry link so you'll need to be a member.

A hat definietly, he's twelve, but that was the only pattern i could find that wasn't a sock monkey or Curious George.

Tell this Canadian gal when Black Friday is  I think a sale would be fun in any case!  I've got a ton of stuff to finish up and put in my shop, we've been dealing with early snow and it is so freaking cold....my workroom is like a freezer  

A2K I tried cutting out the skully snowflake last year and had to give up after hours of working on it.  that is a lot of cutting!  kudos to you if you make it through

Calluna - I hope you can find a way to get the calendar printed out cheaper than that. The last time I checked out Kinkos for printing, it was shocking how expensive it is. Have you tried looking online at sites that allow you to upload images and then they print it - it may be cheaper that way.

Hehe, yes Kinko's is expensive.  I helped make the cookbook for Lana's school last year since we have a comb binder.  The year before they dropped it off at Kinko's, had 100 of them printed, and were shocked when the bill was close to 2K. We also researched sending it out...it is cheaper, but you have to buy in bulk.

The party today was great!  I collected some nice branches and hopefully will be able to offer some buttons in my shop sometime soon, if Lana lets me keeps some of them.  I got a beautiful oak stick, but Lana asked if she could have it for a walking stick and I couldn't say no.

I cut out Yoda, storm troopers, and General Akbar!  It was totally fun!  I have been trying to think of how I could do them in fabric. . . 

Sorry about the extra shop post.  Not sure how that happened.  Thanks for taking care of it, AM.  I'm a bit ditzy lately!

I finally finished making my first shawlette. It took me Soooo long. It was painful to knit, so I don't think I'll make another one any time soon, but I"m going to put it in my shop if anyone wants it.

Calluna, check out cafepress.com for a 12 month calendar option.  We have farm calendars printed every year for our family for $15 each, and they have frequent sales.  You'd have to select just 12 instead of 365 but it still may be fun.
