Thanks Sheep!  I'll use Sculpty then!  I tried Fimo a million years ago and had a bad experience because I over baked it and my red turned black.  Haha.  I probably won't go over 1cm thickness so hopefully I'll be ok.

Hi all

Just made the plunge and have opened my first ever STS shop. Very excited about taking part. Its actually not going to be open very long this week - I'm going off to Edinburgh tomorrow morning for a job interview (lovely 5 hour train journey!) and then going to visit a friend who lives near by, so won't be back home until Sunday. Hopefully when I get back I can work away on my photos (apologies for the incredibly crappy ones at the moment, but I just needed to get my shop up and running between packing!) and add a lot more stock. Anyway, as its my first time if anyones got any advice, especially on prices please let me know

Wow this STS got big! I added some scrapbooking supplies, nothing too fancy, just found them in my stash, some of it is pirate themed! Now off to work on custom orders!!!!   I also made my small hairclips 1 free with any claim and.....

It's the final day to join, all of you who are still on-the-fence!  We're almost up to 4 pages of shops, and I would love to see 4 pages of shops.  The amount of great offerings does make it hard to choose what to claim, but that's also part of the fun.
I panic just a bit when I put in a claim because in choosing that one item I've had to rule out various other things of interest, and then I second-guess whether I'm making the right choice or if it's an impulse-purchase.

Good old opportunity cost!  Gets me every time!  Still here at my parents's place.  Mom is nicely recovered and ready for round two-- hopefully this Thursday.  If it's not this Thursday, I'm headed home for a few days and will return for round 2 next week.  I miss my DH, my dear doggy, and my dear sewing machine!

My best friend's son is nuts about tractors so I've been eying that material. I just can't figure out what the heck I'd do with it. If your friend can use it I say pass it on

I'm putting some applique cat fabric pieces (hard to describe) and some Christmas puppies fabric in my store hopefully tomorrow.

Well I guess we are closed for signups (haha I just realized what day it is....) we have a nice large group of 25 swappers!  I hope to see everyone's shop open for business by the end of this week
