Yeah that happened the last time I went to the PO. I hope it's not a trend but it looks like maybe?

I think it is the new policy.  That last few times I've shipped internationally they've done that.  I think if its just documents you are sending then they don't have to enter it in all the info.  My post office man's face always falls a little bit when I tell him no its not documents.

I just added some flavored toothpicks to my shop.  I realized today that I still have a boatload of flavor oils and a a couple boxes of toothpicks!  Great gifts for the guys in your lives!  ^_^

I'm also going to start working on some watercolor paintings of trees.  I made a prototype last night and I really like how it turned out.  They are simplistic, but I really like them.

Has anyone in the US had the usps clerk type in the ENTIRE customs form when sending internationally? I had the crazy clerk today (there is the preferred sane clerk, but no such luck) and she manually typed in both addresses and the contents list from the short customs form (taking about 10 minutes). Is this a new policy? I sure hope not!!

The same thing happened to me when I mailed something to Canada. This was right after the postal clerk berated me for not putting my full name on the return address and for not using Block letters in either address. He said it was because Canada required it- but I think he was full of it :-)

I had this happen to me the last time I mailed internationally PW. Maybe it depends on where you are shipping? I hope this isn't a trend. Sad

Would anyone be interested in bath salts or shower gels? I have essential oils that need to be used!

a2k, how's your mama doing?

Good news:  Mama came through with flying colors!  Bad news: problem couldn't be fixed with this approach.  One more thing to try before they have to open her up for a major surgical deal.  I am not coming home until Tuesday at the earliest.  Sorry to keep my shop close.  Sad

I need to close down my shop for a few days, and I don't even have that important of a reason.  Cheesy

I'm living/working in Yosemite Nat'l Park til further notice! Blogging about it here. No swapping for me, and minimal crafting time, for the coming months. Almost done with library school! That sums things up for now.
