Aaannnd now I will have this song stuck in my head all day long :-)

Even though I can't click on that link, I am pretty sure I have had the same song in my head since reading the phrase "lighthouse keeper"...

Nice square, A2K!

re: reluctance to spend points - this round will be open for a looong time. You have months to get back to 3 points. The round will also be ending well before the holidays, so the worst case scenario is that you will need to do some custom items to get back to three, and with folks looking for holiday presents of all sorts, that should be relatively easy...

I will be adding the big corduroy and wool pumpkins to my shop tonight. Still need to figure out the stems for the little velvet pumpkins - the real stems look the best of what I've seen browsing around, but I might also try twigs.  And I still have a chunk of orange linen to use up.

exactly, I wouldn't worry about getting back up to 3 points.   As ptarmic said you could do customs or even offer a supply that someone is looking for.  there are always ways Cheesy

I like your square A2K!

I had better work on getting my shop open so I can do some claiming myself this week!

Well, I've spent all my points... but I do have a wishlist in my shop in case anyone needs inspiration.   Smiley

I love the velvet pumpkins, PW.  Can't wait to see what they look like finished!

A2K, sounds like a really interesting class!  And that is a lovely square.   Smiley

LFF, can't wait to see the buttons!

And I updated my shop again today.  Smiley  I adjusted a few points (down) and added some new necklaces...a button necklace and a red glass bead necklace.

Thanks for the positive comments on my square.  Hand-piecing is very fun, but I can't imagine doing a whole quilt.  Here is the quilt that served as inspiration:

There was an antique singer I had to take a picture of as well:

And here is the basket:    Should I make more of these?  Or would anyone like a kit to make one?

Another item added:

Cute basket, A2K   Smiley   My mother does the quilts with the tiny pieces of fabric that she hand sews together and then hand quilts.  Beautiful, but I don't have the patience for making them!   I love them though.   Smiley
