ugh double stick tape will not hold on stress points.  yeah I would also recommend good old white glue or sewing if it is an item that can be sewn along the edge.

Yeah, I don't know why the instructions (via martha stewart) said to use the double sided tape with watercolor paper..... the tape seems to work particularly poorly on this paper.

re: this swap, I haven't been working on anything in particular.  There are some test items that I am working on for stuff to submit to MD Sheep and Wool garment & skein competition, so some of those might make an appearance during the next round....

LOL, yeah I'm fancying some book making myself here soon. Why would anyone suggest tape for watercolor paper? The two just don't mix.

I've been making cracked marbles like crazy and will be offering some in the next round of STS....hopefully A2K will attest to their awesomeness once she sees them in person. 

Other than that I'm still planning on repainting the curb find from years ago for Lana's room.  I found a really cute birdcage half frame that comes with clothing pins so that you can tack up pics, etc. for it.  Hopefully we'll have fun finding things to coordinate with it.

Lana has been doing well.  She just got accepted into a children's chorus and is working hard for their Spring performance.  Since then she's been singing non-stop...so much so that DH and I have memorized their 5 songs some of which are in Spanish and Swahili.

Oooo, cracked marbles are so pretty!      I have some extra cracked marbles I made from this past STS holiday appreciation round.   I was pondering what else I could make with them for this coming round too.       I've also got some other things planned for the next round that I've got a start on but I haven't finished any of them yet. 

Is the next round still tentatively in February?

a bunch of fabrics arrived in the mail last week, so i'm guessing there will be sewn goodies

   I read "sewn goodies" and my crafty ears perked up. I'll be stalking ya Loves2!
 I need purses this round, if anyone needs ideas to make  My reliable black bag from 5 years ago is finally dying and I need a roomy "diaper bag-esque" purse to carry around. (Just because I don't have babies anymore doesn't mean I don't need a roomy purse  That's a common misconception )
  I'm also holding out for one of sheepBlue's Teesha Moore bags!! The Sherlock one she did is already pinned

I have been playing around with some short fiber merino left over from felt camp, doing sculptural stuff like this:
