I made this deer for a friend. He still puts it out every year pulling Santa's sled.

Wish we could see more decorations like this instead of the cheap plastic glowing deer and santas usually decorating the lawns. There's so much more love in this.

Glammy, I agree.  The commercial stuff falls apart and then you have to go out and get another one. I always built all my holiday pieces. Thaks for stopping by and commenting. Have a good life!

What a fantastic deer - loves it, and would love to have something like it (but I live in an apartment, so it would cause some problems). Is it made of plywood? And did you paint 'freehand' or did you use a picture?
