Pregnant Mama, Baby & Toddler Swap 2 (SU Sept 15-Oct 15 SO Nov 16)

mine have all been smaller then my first. mind you i baked him the longest! my DD came home in preemie clothes as well. she was just so tiny! i kept them because of how freaky small they were. i also found all the NB dipes i had for DS2 the other day when going through the too small stuff. can't believe that his moose self ever fit in them!

The past few weeks have been insanely busy here, so I apologize for not being more active on this board, but I have been crafting my little heart out on my swap items!  I sent yesterday, but now comes the hard part... Waiting for my partner to receive!!  I'm way too excited to find out if she likes her package. 

Boystress, your poor ankle!  I hope you're okay... I wish I had read this before I sent, I'd have added a little get well present.

Reading about 10+ lb babies makes me extremely grateful that it's my sister who's expecting, and not me.  Haha

This one is going to be born a bit early, via c-section for health reasons, but still, I don't know what to expect at all after him.

I didn't buy anything in newborn sizes when I was pregnant because I just knew my baby wouldn't be that small....boy was I wrong!!!

Me too lol.  J was my first but DH & I are both really tall & I had GD & I just "knew" he wasn't going to be in newborn sizes.  He was perfectly average at 8+ lbs (and in newborn sizes a couple of weeks), but you just never know.    Now he definitely got his large head from my dad's side & THAT I could have done without.

Ok!  I finished a small & medium.  Another small to go.

I didn't buy any first size or new born stuff for either of my boys. Miles came in on due date (just) at 7lb 15.5oz and was just great but now (3 1/2 years later) is SO tall hes in 6-7 year clothes
Scott was 9 days early (planned c-section after emergency section with Miles) and 8lbs 1oz, having been told I had too much fluid, a large baby (with a month to go they were saying he weighed over 9lbs), and a big scare over GD!
Have slowly been getting rid of the little stuff, and can't believe that either of them fitted into those tiny clothes, but I remember dressing them in some of the outfits, so they must have!

As for swap - almost finished main item, and on with extras as discussed with partner

My son just turned 3 and he is a GIANT he makes most 5 year olds look small...I just had to start buying clothes in the regular boys section and I can relate to your sad face lol

I have most of my package finished but now that my partner knows she is having a girl  I want to craft a few items that are "girly" -I'm using that term loosely.

I have enlisted the help of a crafty friend to help me today......the broken ankle and a bad reaction to the painkillers has really held me up Hopefully today the cutting will get done and the sewing will be done Friday. Will wash and dry on weekend and send Monday. Sorry Evilrachel, yours will be a couple of days late.....but hopefully worth waiting for!

This is off topic but I'm so excited I have to say it. The oldest is now TOTALLY done with any and all cancer stuffs!!! He finished chemo and all other treatments back in April but still had his medical port in. That was taken out yesterday. It now feels done to me since I won't have to worry ever time he gets a fever about going in for blood work. The last major thing from cancer has now left my boy!
