Just got back from an excursion to the Mall of America's Lego Land and the DID NOT have the bricks I needed for a special item. Grrrrr.

Regardless...
I didn't leave empty handed, that would be a crime!  Grin

I know what I'm going to make and am hoping to make a trip to the lego store tomorrow for something I need.

Ooo I'm intrigued. I can't wait to see what you've made for me! Smiley

I've got one item virtually finished, and I went shopping today and bought supplies for another item which I've made a start on. The second item is going to take quite a while, but I've got 2 2-hour train journeys and 2 4-hour car journeys coming up in the next couple of weeks, and luckily this is a portable craft!

Now I just have to decide what other items I'm going to make...

so am I really trying to overwork my brain here or is it just me being "weird" as usual......

in looking at some of the crafts with lego bricks, some very clear projects come forward; picture frame, travel box, and jewelry.  while I know that everyone will make something different and special, I worry about making something just like everyone else.  Ok, maybe this just makes sense in my head but i want to make sure my partner feels special and unique and doesn't look at the gallery and say, "well I'm adding another ___  to the gallery that goes with the four already there."

yeah, I know its just me and i'm getting overly paranoid and playing a head game with myself or something...  my shoes are too tight and it constricts the blood flow to my brain... yeah, something like that!

After a few messages with my partner I *think* I know what I'm making......lots of ideas!  My partners son is a pretty cool little boy with good taste =)  I can't want to start crafting for him.
