So my friend gave me a kiln for my birthday (crazy, huh?) and it took me FOREVER to get up the nerve to use it for anything but PMC.  I love doing PMC, but it is so expensive and cost-prohibitive these days with the price of silver!!

These are the results of my first two firings.  Not perfect, but I liked how most of them turned out.  If you look in one of them, you can see where I accidentally positioned them too close together and I got a Siamese pendant!  Fun stuff, this glass fusing is!!!

Looks like you are having a lot of fun with your new kiln.  I hope you will be posting more pictures as you learn to use it.

Wow, for a first firing those are really good!

I love the bottom pendants :-)

Out of interest, where did you get that lovely reactive glass?

Hi!  The reactive glass is Bullseye French Vanilla and then I used Aquamarine Blue frit/  .  The rest of the reaction is done with silver leaf.  The Aquamarine reacts with the French Vanilla and the silver foil reacted with French Vanilla.  Aquamarine does not react with silver foil, though.  It was an interesting experiment!!
