Another colour block shirt and a Star shirt.

The colour block shirt was inspired by a tank top I saw at Rickis, I knew Immediately that I could make it so I traced a tank top pattern that I had, cut it into several pieces (after labelling them) and sewed it up.  All of the fabric was kicking around in my stash was really simple to make!

The second top was based on a shirt that I own that no longer fits (it's too short, and too tight), I traced it and found some fabric in my stash that I wanted to use.  I didn't have enough to make sleeves/add length so I used black material for the sleeves/bottom band, and white fabric to use for the neckbands/sleeve bands.

*also, as a side note, I apologize for not 'dolling myself up' for the photos, I'm a naptime crafter who is in serious need of a haircut!*

The stars shirt is amazing.  I wouldn't have the confidence to attempt that lovely back opening.

It's great for stash busting! I always buy the remnants at Joann's but it's never enough for a whole shirt.

Confidence as in sewing it or to wear it? It took a few sewing attempts to get the back right, as for wearing it I made a similar shirt with a smaller opening that shows less back.

Inspiration without application is moot.
