You could probably enter that first image into some kind of photography contest. It is perfect! Good for you! Isn't it great when new-to-you crafts look so good on the first time? I'm excited to see more of your wooliy creations.

Awesome awesome awesome!  And your feather baby is so pretty Grin

(And and, the first thing I ever felted was a tiny version of Cosmo.  But he just wanted to eat it.  I can tell why your tiny one might be confusing to Peanut.  It looks so real, yet smells all wrong Grin)

To all past swap partners....If something I made you fell apart in some way, it would be helpful to me if you PMed me and told me about it.  Sometimes, I try new things, and if they fail, it helps me to know

This turned out terrific! I have only ever felted soap and made felt balls with hot water. I have a needle felting kit but I am terrified to try, I'm sure a lot of blood will be shed. But this makes me really want to try, I love the way the final product looks.

I saw this and had to comment! Peanut is suchsuchsuch a doll! My boyfriend and I breed macaws and conures, and this immediately caught my eye the second I opened Crafster. Our sun conures (Gavin and Gwen) are two of my favorites of all our birds! They're such sweet birds.

Anyways! Too cute on the mini-peanut!

Thanks, you guys for all the sweet comments! Big Peanut is a pretty bird, huh? Cheesy Loud, but the cute makes up for it. If you're on the fence about needle felting, just try it! It's so fun! I think my next project will be a wee toucan, since I'm obsessed.

So cute! Conures give the best side eye  Grin
Hahaha! I love that. "Side eye" is the perfect word for it. Mr. Nooo and I like to drop stuff near Peanut to get him to give some side eye Smiley
