Rainbow tutu and thigh highs

My daughter's birthday is next week and I was searching for something to make for her, when she spotted a rainbow tutu on Etsy. So off to the fabric store we went, and bought 10 yards of tulle. While there I spotted some cute ladies' knee socks, and I knew just what to do with them.
 

The heels were cut out and sewn closed to make them into tube socks. Now she can wear them under her tutu!

That is an awesome birthday tutu and outfit! She is going to feel and look so great! And I seriously love her hair.

Beautiful, the child and the outfit.  I would have loved a rainbow tutu at her age. (I'd still love one but I'd also like to be the age where I could wear it  )
