Hi there!

Again it's been a while, I decided to post this one to see what you guys think.

I got a request this last week of making a pair of cufflinks for a dads birthday gift, inspired in their 1 month old baby.

After several sketches, going through initials, silhouettes, shapes, some designs I had already made etc

I suggested we could use his little foot, ..

After a little photoshop to make the photo she gave me the proper size...

I cut the shape with a jeweler's saw...which took several attempts.

I made the other parts, after a couple of hours of soldering, engraving, sanding and polishing

Voila!

Really hope the dad likes them!  Smiley

Wow. Those are brilliant.  I love the little foot.  I'm sure the father will love it too.

These are stunning! And what a clever idea, to make cuff links! Obviously, most men don't wear jewelry, and that's just inspired.

I really love the dimensionality you got on the footprint--from the engraving? They look wonderful.
