Hi guys

I don't get to do this sort of thing very often, but here is my latest cake project.  It was for a woman at work who was throwing a surprise 40th birthday party for her husband.  His gift was a trip to Las Vegas, so she wanted the cake to be a hint Smiley

It's definitely the most elaborate cake I've done.  The bottom tier is vanilla sponge filled with jam and vanilla buttercream, the middle layer is chocolate with more chocolate, and the die are plain sponge and buttercream.  All the decorations are made from fondant.

this cake is a TOTAL WINNER! beautifully done and i esp love that vegas nostalgia welcome sign.
id say the cake was more of a gift than the trip but thats a craftster talkin!

Thanks guys!  It turned out way better than I had imagined it would. I really can't wait to do another big cake project, I just need someone to have a big party Cheesy
