I swore I posted these, but I can't seem to find them.  Huh  so I'll post my originals first, then my new ones with their story.

first up, we have the red and black sets that I made last year after finding these pretty flowers on Etsy:

I have now become SO obsessed with flowers like this that I've pinned about a hundred different kinds from Etsy.  lol.

so on to the story.  after moving to Arizona about 2 months ago, my aunt became friends with a woman who works at a bead store.  she asked if the store was hiring and was given information on who to contact.  my aunt then sent me the info and I have been e-mailing back and forth with the owner of the store.  I was hoping to meet with her today since I was going to be in the area, but no such luck.  oh well.  I did get to meet the manager on duty as well as my aunt's friend.  we all talked (and it seems like a great place to work since all you do is play with beads all day and talk to people about beads) and they invited me to have a look around the store.  I found 2 deadly (for my wallet) tubs full of beads I HAD to have.  $10 later I wound up with some turquoise size 15/0 Miyuki seed beads (the tiniest they make), a little zip baggie of Czech glass drops, daggers and leaves, 2 adorable Mahjong red dragon tile beads (I needed one more but I couldn't find another), and 4 lucite/acrylic turquoise flowers.  since these were bigger, I only used 3 of them rather than 4, so I'll have to buy a few more next time I'm there so I can make something else.  here's what I came up with:

oh, and the drops on these ones are some frosted clear ones I got from the store.  Grin

I still have to talk to the owner, but hopefully I can get some work there.  wish me luck!

Hope you get the job!  I like your style in jewelery, very delicate.  I love those lucite flowers too.
