Hello all! Been a member for a few years but haven't posted many things so thought I'd start off with something new that I've done this year. Collage made from magazine squares and other shapes applied to canvas. Hope you like it Smiley

That is beautiful. It must have taken you ages with all those little squares. Well done.

gorgeous!  How big is the canvas (or more importantly how small are all the magazine squares Smiley )?  That is a really cool take on collage!

Thank you! It's a 16x20 canvas and I cut most of the squares about 1/4 inch, smallest ones about 1/8. I think I might have been insane to try this  Grin. I love it though. I realized on my next project that I could cut bigger squares, layer them and get the same effect lol. Saved so much time.

Stunning!  and, an incredible amount of work!  The layering really does add so much texture and depth compared to just using flat pieces...

It is just as lovely close as it is from far away!  WOW!

Breathtaking! And what an ant-work, great job! If you hadn't posted the close-up I would've thought it was a painting regardless.
