Has anyone else other than Sheepblue gotten a response?

I wish.  Also a bit bummed from lack of communication, but still happy with the concept and would do it again!

BTW, I too am seeing "art" where there isn't.  For instance, two brightly colored small plastic bubble containers in the median of the Home Depot parking lot and an adorable horse stuffed animal "abandoned" at the public bus stop (for 2 days) all of which I rescued. Destined to be art in a future project I'm sure.

That makes 4 - library, hotel pond, mall eating area, mall train. Two more to go, because my partner made 7. I will try one at DD's school Fun Fair today, and the last will come with me to campus for my 3rd quarter exam next week. I'm hoping to leave it in the study lounge at the library. Wink

The fun fair was a bust. That's ok. I ended up leaving one at the college cafeteria and one at the hospital waiting room, at the end of my shift.

This is the waiting room's brochure rack:

What a long day! Aced my midterm, went to work, finished my covert abandoning, and am now relaxing with a glass of wine. Hm, I'm a little sad, no more art to abandon. Thrifty, I hope someone finds your stuff and contacts you!  Smiley

I've left my matchboxes - one in an aeroplane, and the other at a supermarket self checkout. No photos because I was trying to be sneaky Wink

I also left the magnetic tic tac toe game on the fridge of the cabin we stayed in on our 1 day holiday in Cairns to see the eclipse - I have a photo of that, but can't upload it while my other half is trying to remote log in computers for work  Roll Eyes

Art abandonment is the new black! (Or perhaps just the new hexipuffs?)

Even Urban Threads is getting into it - have you guys seen this? I thought of you all immediately!

Silvermoon, I JUST THIS MINUTE finished making one of those bunnies!!  I will definitely make more for abandoning.  I love that you get to name them!  The pattern printed out larger than the ones in their pictures appear to be, so I am downsizing it for the next bunnies.

WOW - you guys are amazing!

Missed this somehow (even with Leslies blog, I still missed it!), but just caught up with the wonderful artwork you guys have been abandoning!

So wish I could have found one of those wonderful wee books, or the 3" art work, or the . . . . you get the drift Cool

I hope that you get some response from the finders, but even if you don't, know that you have brightened someones world, if only for a little while (and thats just me looking at the photos Tongue)

Enjoy your art ladies, and I'll be watching out for round 2.
