Glad you got a second note!  I could tell you which piece they are probably talking about Cheesy

I dropped another piece off the day after - but it was not respected.  I found it when I was leaving my workshops gone from where I dropped it off, but found it a few feet down the way - on top of the garbage.  Luckily unharmed and I was able to save it and will re-abandon later.  They never even read the notes it looks like.  For goodness sakes, if you don't want it - leave it alone!  It obviously was not a piece of garbage!  Unimaginative disrespectful twit.

I'm glad you were able to rescue the art, Onyxnox.  I always wonder if that's what happens when I abandon a piece but never hear from the person who found it.

I know I did not leave the item that woman was talking about under the CN Tower - what I think happened was that someone else picked it up, and moved it along for someone else to appreciate.  That I don't mind - just don't throw someone else's art away just because it is not something you personally appreciate - leave it for someone else who may like it.  Unless of course, he meant on the bench I left it on - as the convention centre is sort of under the CN Tower, and some people cut through it to get to transit.

The email did mention a bench.

I can't wait to take your books with me when I go travelling this week. I'm connecting in North Carolina and Philadelphia on my way to and from Seattle, so your books are going to be all over the place  Cheesy

Sooo...this is not a great picture of the abandonned art. My other pictures actually show FancyButch's amazing little spaceship boxes in their abandonned home. But this one I have to post because I took it with my phone and not my camera (forgot my camera cord today).

I totally setup this abandonment for the shuttle in the background. The shuttle was being moved down the streets of Los Angeles to the science center and I thought what a great crowd to appreciate an alien painting. The man in black sort of in the center just picked up the box so I snapped a picture. Unfortunately you can't see the art because it was grabbed before I could walk away and turn around to take the picture.

Anyhow, of course I followed this man. He brought it back to show his family. Then I just kept walking by trying to play it cool. I didn't stick around and watch him with his family because I did not want to be creepy. I soooo hope he took it home!

Onyxnox, that is a sad thing. I hope mine didn't end up thrown out, what with all the cleaning people roving around the resort grounds... :/ I'm so glad you found it!

Ooh SheepBlue, that's exciting! I like the idea of dropping in so many different places!

JMiller614 -- OMG you witnessed a find!!! I love that the space shuttle was there, and even a blimp in the sky! Great drop!

I broke my glasses, blind as a bat so I'm going to have it fixed at the mall. I'll try and do another drop there.
