What can I say - I love wrapping, and if I can't actually wrap your art gift, then I can at least choose a beautiful surrounding to wrap it in!

When I abandon downtown, I am abandoning art in art in some places.  Can you tell I have been thinking about it awhile?

In fact, one of your items will be abandoned on one of my favourite iconic public art pieces.

 The set of wrapped rocks I thought fell out of my bag, actually fell onto the odd chair at the end of my dining room table no one uses. Now I have one more item to abandon. I still have my halloween painted rocks to release into the world.

Woo Hoo!  I just received my package from puamelia!  However, pics will have to wait until tomorrow as I have FIVE out of town guests arriving in a matter of hours, and the bathroom still needs a scrubbing :/

Wow. FancyButch is amazing. I just received the most wonderful items. I will post pictures tomorrow from my work computer.

Her theme was "We are all a little alien" with these absolutely incredible spray painted boxes and tiny alien pictures.

What she doesn't know is...I work for NASA! I am totally abandoning a few at work for some stressed out engineers to find. I know the tiny alien painting will make their day. I am definitely leaving one for someone on the night shift to find.

I do plan on leaving some around town as well. Definitely near the Rose Bowl. I may leave one at the LA Science Center as well. They are beautiful!

I received from LeapFeetFirst today!  She made some amazing pieces of art on 3x3" canvases.  The pics aren't the best because all the art came prepackaged in plastic bags, so there's a little glare on all the pics - LeapFeetFirst if you have better pics, please add them .

The camera didn't do the best job of capturing it, but all of the art is amazingly textured with various textures!

I like how the paper part that says "Free Art" has a hole.  I'm thinking of maybe leaving it on a peg at the store... The back lets people know that the free art is theirs to keep or share.  It also has LeapFeetFirst's email address, so hopefully someone will send a message!

I had a hard time choosing, but I think I'm going to keep the "color outside the lines" canvas.  Thank you Melanie, I can't wait to abandon...now if I could just decide where...
