Ok everyone, prepare to be blown away! Onyxnox sent me the most amazing package of miniature artwork to abandon and I'm stunned at how much time, thought and love she put into this, and more so how well you can actually feel it when looking at the detail of her work. She is a queen of miniature book making and has gone beyond awesome to come up with these gems!

(As you can see the only thing I had handy *harhar* to show the scale of these beauties was my hand..so yeah)



These are all bound with thread I believe! As someone who took a book making class, I am impressed! And holy cow there's some tiny stitching! I am in love with her use of leather and metal bits.



The last image actually has pages that are see-through. I tried to take a picture to show that but limited success.



And lastly the cards and pins that she made and sent along so I can package it all up! And a finished one that is ready to be abandoned!



I know that whoever finds these little treasures are going to feel the love that Onyxnox put into making these and I can't wait to start putting them out in the world!

There really isn't any words for how much I wish I could find one of them. I'm completely revising my plan and stepping things up a notch.

Those are amazing!  Where did you say you'd be abandoning them?  About what time?

Wow - I am so glad I paid the extra two bucks for air mail - I could never have imagined they would get there that fast!!!!

I am so glad you liked them.  I was a bit worried that I was getting obsessed with the minibook thing, but I have had a monkey on my shoulder about them for months and months and just am in love with making them.  I have a couple of more on the go that I just haven't had the right idea for covers yet too - I wanted to send one with some other Leonard Cohen lyrics and another Terry Pratchett one, but just have not found the right cover idea for them yet!

I can't wait to see what happens when they are abandoned and am so looking forward to getting your art, and seeing what everyone else has made and what happenes when we all abandon.  I can't tell you all how excited this makes me!

I was inspired by a post on facebook to try a bit of abandonment art as well.  I happen to have several prints I made, atc sized, and gave it a whirl with those.  But I love that you are all doing it together, it allows for the excitement to build.  I will definitely jump in if another swap gets going in the future.  :-) 

I love the miniature books, wow, the amount of time and energy you put into them is phenomenal.
