That's right - Fancybutch - aren't you in Toronto too?Huh  Care to give me any hints as to where you plan on abandoning <mine>?

Also, I have decided that the two remaining Baba Yaga houses are going to be abandoned when I am at the Creativ Festival this weekend - there are people there from all over North America (and beyond, I have met Australians, Europeans, and someone from the Carribean there) and they are all there because they are creative and appreciate the hand made and crafty, so not only would they go to someone who would appreciate them, but who knows where they will end up when they are home.

I am in Toronto!  So far my friend at work is trying to convince me to abandon one in her office lol.  I have a photo taking trip with a friend on Saturday, depending on rain, to the Brickworks, and might leave some there. Smiley

Sorry I've been so late in posting, I received from microjivvy a few days ago and have already abandoned, but Craftster didn't like my photos.  It wouldn't upload a .jpg because it only accepts (among others) .jpg files...  O.o  Frustration, thy name is technology.  So hopefully this will work tonight!

First, two little extra bits - a bookmark that was secured on the outside of the package (for me!) and a little piece of art that is so pretty!  Yes, it's just on a piece of cardboard, but the layering and painting... I love it.

Then on to the packaging, which had instructions.  Remove tab  Smiley before lifting on the bridge (slowly and carefully straight up...

(okay, apparently it will not upload this particular file for ANYTHING - it was taken on my phone like all the others, I've saved and renamed and... ARGH!  I had to re-save as a .gif to get it to work!)

To reveal...

I've already abandoned two, one at the post office...

...and one at one of the libraries...

(Why did some of the pictures - take with the same phone - work and others not?  Blergh!  But yay for art abandonments!)

I'm still thinking of more good places to leave them...

ha!, they may have given you trouble, but those are great pics!  I was so concerned about the "construction" of the packaging that I forgot to take a pic of it, so I'm really glad you did.

For anyone who can't read it, there's a quote pasted to  the "gift for you"/AA card that reads "Throw your dreams into space like a kite." (Anais Nin)

What a cute, whimsical project!  Great packing job too.

I found with the new craftster hosting that the first one or two pics will load properly, but then I have the code for the following ones, and they will not load properly - and it either corrects itself, or oddly enough, after I load them in the craftster photo hosting site, they show up without changing the code (unless that is just the situation self correcting).

Hmmmm - you could abandon one at the post office too.  Specifically wrapped in an envelope.  With interesting decoration on it.  A design that could be suspiciously like an address - afterall it is the post office.  May I volunteer my address to be even more specific  Wink
