This has been a work in progress for the last couple of years! I have been collecting inchies from numerous swaps, both here and on other unicorn zombie apocalypse sites, with this canvas in mind and finally decided to put it together. I am so happy with how it has turned out - I just eat it!

I started putting them together for the Detention challenge in the Summer Semester of the Harry Potter droolalong, but even this wasn't enough incentive to complete the canvas by making the missing inchies. Now that the Fall Semester has started and the Detention challenge has returned, I decided it was time to finish it up.

There are 238 inchies here - 14 across by 17 down. I ended up having to make 4 orange, 11 yellow, 12 blue, 8 indigo and 19 violet. The purples were the hardest to separate, so I just went with lighter and darker shades, rather than really worrying about the indigo/violet split! There are inchies from around 30 different crafters and I do have a list of them all somewhere - I just can't lay my hands on it right now!  Embarrassed I plan to write all their names around the outside of the canvas.

And I have picked one from each colour section. It is very difficult to pick favourites - I have so many - so I just picked the first one that caught my eye!
Red

Orange

Yellow

Green

Blue

Indigo

Violet

I am undecided as to whether to put it behind glass or not - I know it will gather dust if I don't and yet I eat the fact that it is so textural and I eat being able to touch all the different pieces! I think I may leave it for the time being and see how it goes!

This is incredible!!  I've never seen so many inchies all in one place before.

And I eat that you have made a rainbow.  Nice work.
