It's such a simple idea but I never would have thought to use packing tape to be able to sew paper.  Awesome!!!!

Oh and I forgot to add that for the stitching of the little picture it is best to use super-skinny needles... but of course, you wonderful people already knew that

nope--thanks for the tip...I am so near sited that I would probably have used HUGE needles!

Guess I will have to wear the old lady reading glasses to do this projects!

Awesome as always, when do you make a bad project? I need at least half of those badges. Especially the crafting after midnight one since I dont think I can be creative when the sun is out.

Jivvy and scarlet_nights, you are so right- there is something about utter quiet and darkness that makes me want to torture neighbors with the sound of frantic crafting, like the sewing machine

And alwaysinmyroom- oh, I have found that being awfully, awfully nearsighted actually helps when trying to make small things- I might not be able to see further than 10 inches without glasses, but things that are really close are fine- even though I run the risk of sewing my own nose to things

Thanks so much for posting this - looks like I can add another project to my 'to-do' list.
I don't communte - I only walk 10 blocks to work from my house so maybe I can do this at lunch, like you do.
