hi its me again,
this time i have a few better pictures of my Mariposa doll
as i explained in my previous post, she is a variation of a therapy doll
things have been difficult in the last little while and i decided to try and be proactive while i wait for a new therapist...

her name is mariposa which in Spanish means butterfly,
i started her on the machine and finished her by hand
her clothes are all hand sewn and removable
i love that i can actually style and play with her hair.

C & C welcome

love to take part in personal swaps, I would love a poppet of my very own, or a doll like the ones made by Poppets & Lace

I also love her wardrobe, and those shoes!
A pattern for those?
I'm making a doll now that I'd like to have removeable clothes, but I'm not really a clothes maker.
So I'm going very slow on that part.
Great crafting!

I'm not much of a clothing maker myself
but i measured my dolls feet and then made a 'sole'
i then used a wide strip of fake fur and sewed it to the sole,
i attached a tongue and made laces out of hemp.
basically i winged it, i kinda winged everything with her...
