I received from the fabulous houlihan today!...actually it arrived yesterday,  but all I got was a note from the postman as I wasn't home! But I was home early enough today to go and collect it...DD and I had a blast opening it... (Houlihan is such a great person, love getting swap packages from people who I think I would really get on well with in real life..it kinda provides a breath of fresh air from them...that was such an unclear statement..but I am v tired!!  )

So the first. We have names of unequal letters, so she did EdelCha

E-earring ring from a vintage costume earring and L-ladylike gloves for 50s chores..




D-arling fabric...and some gorgeous bits in here..She very cleverly used the fabric to pad out the box...


another E...which is pretty self explainatory..one side is a vintage letter...and it has vintage buttons..how cool is this?




C-haos reducers..these very cool post it notes...also in this shot is A, anagrams bananagrams..which will be a lot of fun to play with DD...and a wonderful extra that has made DD very happy. Mike and ikes jellybeans..



and the last item...and my favourite...this wonderful heart plate..I love the plate and I love the quote and I am delighted that it arrived in one piece!!

I love those gloves - I've seen them in stores and have always wanted to make a pair! Too bad I don't use rubber gloves, though.

Hey Spelling Aficionados!
I wanted to share the package I sent to PearlJam94....



She chose as one of her fave color combos "pink and orange". I've never crafted in those two colors together so I thought I would give it a whirl.
I kind of got hooked!

Like I said, I'm kinda digging the colors!
The ribbon basketweave was new crafty ground for me and it was fun!
The Apron was sewn from a valance I found at the thrift store a long time ago. PearlJam94 has some daughters and I figured sleepovers were bound to occur. It's always nice to have an apron for every occasion. 

PearlJam94 let me know she liked everything and that makes me super happy because I liked making it for her!
