CRAFTING KEEPS ME FROM GOING CRAZY!!!!

Recently I did a personal swap with dfabric and I made her a pirate hat and eyepatch for her son and for her daughter I made her a Repunzel wig. Because I knew my kiddo would want one I made two, and sent the better one off for the swap. My daughters one has the flowers on the side, there was a blank spot. She loves it, she is 5 years old and the wig just hits the floor so it is quite long.

My daughters

Both hats I sent for the swap

Thanks for looking.

I had an idea to crochet a hat base and add the long hair and braid it as a hat/ scarf.

Thanks so much, here is the tutorial and it didnt take that long at all. The hardest part is the braiding just lots of hair.

Thanks for posting pictures. my daughter loves it, here's a pic.

By the way I saw the tutorial, you did a better job. By laying the hair nicely and sewing it down.
Also that little braid you did in the front is so cute. I know I couldn't have done half as good a job myself.
