I used this tutorial with a few minor adjustments. They're great fun to personalize!

My 1st one, made for a swap partner.
Some London themed fabric, beaded rings and embroidered lettering then stitched up!

For a friend's birthday.
There's this series (Fullmetal Alchemist) she introduced me to where some important pocket watches have this design. I printed it out and traced it onto the gray fabric with a fabric marker. Now she has her own state alchemist "pocket watch"  Smiley

My personal favorite, also for a swap.
I may have to make one of these for myself!

C&C always welcome.

These are great.  I need a coin purse myself. Thanks for the link.

but wow on these other! i don't know what it is about the British flag that gets me and so many others.

how hard is it to sew a zipper in the round? im shaking my head here at the computer thinking pretty tough!

Thank you, susanab!
(BTW, my local team is the Mariners. Look them up and their past, oh, 11 seasons, to feel better about the Mets  Tongue )

The tutorial suggests gathering the zipper fabric then sewing it on, but I found it much easier to skip that part and use the little lines woven into the zipper as a guide of where to stitch. It was actually very easy!
