I made this Chain Chomp for the August Bday Swap. My partner had some Mario villains like this one pinned, and when I make something off a pin I like to try to make it my own at least a little bit. I did that by changing the angle and stitching the Chain Chomp head on, and by crocheting his chains out of yarn. After I cut the tiny pieces out of felt I attached them with a bit of fabric glue so they wouldn't wiggle around too much while I was trying to stitch them on.
