Well I made 7 jars of pickles today! All the jars have popped and now I'm just waiting for them to cool so they can go in my "cellar"...its really just a cabinet, I just like to pretend I'm fancy. lol.

Ha!  My cellar is a cabinet, too.  Seven jars are awesome!

Yay!  Lots of folks have told me they've made them but you're the first to give them a taste.  I'm so glad you like them!  My daughter pilfered a jar of mine when she was home last weekend.   Cheesy

Alright, Missing Willow, I must give you a hearty thank you for sharing this (again!).  I made these and hubby's been foaming at the mouth for weeks now waiting to open a jar of pickles.  I made a few sliced pickle jars for sandwiches and a few whole pickle jars.  He grabbed one of the whole pickle jars yesterday and took it to work and shared it with his fellow laborers.  Everyone absolutely LOVED them!  They were raving and raving about them!  Hubby said that when you open them, they smell really sweet, but when you eat them they are the perfect amount of sweet with spices and dill.  So, I will be looking no further for pickle recipes, and will be faithfully using this one for future pickling adventures!  I used a different recipe last year that hubby didn't like very much, but one of his coworkers did.  His coworker was super excited to try and new and improved pickles!  Hubby gave the rest of the jar to his coworker who was going to chop up the remaining and use in egg salad.  Yum!

Oh, and you get a virtual hug!  *hug!*
