Lol thank you!

Here is alteredmommy's ghoulish piece.  The textures are incredible, and I eat the color!

My pictures don't really do it justice, but it truly is a mixed media masterpiece.

I didn't even realize how much I dig the mustard yellow... then I hung it and realized there is mustard all over my wall. Lol!

Thank you, alteredmommy, for hosting this RAAR grr ugggh unicorn zombie apocalypse and for letting me be your partner!

Usually I am not a fan of anything that yellow, but I eat that piece!  We need details, AM...what did you use for the flaky textures?

The colors in the last picture are WAY closer to true - it's more mustard and sepia versus mustard and neon sunshine.. lol.  I am still learning how to use my cell phone camera, and I can't find my other one.. lol

Its more bumpy than flaky, lots of layers of tiny, tiny plastic beads in gesso, with distress powder on top and lots of layers of glaze.
I thought I had a close up of it but this is the best shot I have that shows the texture

There are truly RAAR grr ugggh canvases displayed in this chainswarm, and I would be proud to have all of them on my wall (I'm not swapping my lighthouse, I just want them all Wink). This has been an inspirational unicorn zombie apocalypse and I eat everyone's creativity.  Grin

I'm so happy you liked it Alwaysinmyroom and it arrived safely.  The heather on the moors is truly spectacular, for an area that is so barren, windswept and devoid of life (apart from the odd sheep) it always amazes me how vivid the colours are with the different purples of the heather and the green of the gorse and if you go to just the right spot you can see the distant sea sparkling way off.  Very different to a carribean or tropical type sea - but maybe because I've grown up with it I eat it so much.

Can't WAIT for my art to arrive, I'm checking every day and ready for the postman - hopefully won't be too much longer!!
