hey  , i received on Friday from ybunny girl. I squeed and later in the day when i got home again just looking at the art she did made my day.

this painting is beyond gorgeous, she used metalics as well which was really really cool. I loved the way she did the tree, in particular it gave the trunk texture with just paint and made the trunk look trunky......i  plan to try this technique in the future.

it now has a space on the wall in my office/bedroom

man oh man! I wish I'd had internet when this swap was in sign-up mode. I LOVE hand made art!! I make grabby hands at every new piece that's been posted  Cheesy The lotus blossom and the tree silhouette especially tickle my fancy, and the yellow and red vague portrait of the woman. SO. COOL. But how can anyone really choose a favorite right?

Please check out this other Art Swap that opened if any of you wonderfully artistic gals haven't quite gotten the art bug out of your system yet Wink

Here is my lovely art from Scarlet_Angel!  It is inspired by the countryside where she is from.  I love the calming shapes and the colors of this landscape.  It is hanging in my craft room to remind me that no matter where we are, we love beauty in nature!  Thank you for swapping with me...hope you get your art soon!

wow--I love it!  How the heck did you get the skeleton to stick to the canvas?  The details are amazing...I also love the keyhole "body"--very creepy and mysterious...

I am anxiously awaiting for the delivery of my piece to scarlet_angel...I guess international swapping has its anxious waiting moments, but I love it--I forgot to mention that the purple colors in the piece I got is meant to represent the heather I have seen only in pictures...that is why it is so calming to me..heather swaying in the breezes...*sigh*

Thank you!  It was great fun.. I got to play with reactive paints and melting the poor skeleton to get him into position.,. Lol.  I attached him with aome wicked strong glue, that's it!

I was on the phone one day playing with a twist tie and bent it into  the shape of a spine and then decided it looked good with that skull... lol!

I will be back with pictures of alteredmommy's masterpiece!
