I have the privilege of receiving the first package!

Casey1201 sent me a messenger bag for my daughter, a pair of earrings for my mom and a surprise snowball for me! Cheesy

Here's a close up of the earrings.

Casey1201 gave me permission to open my snowball. I had stated that I would wait but last week was super stressful with my husband ending up in the ER. He's fine but it took me a couple of days to destress. I took Casey up on her offer! Look at all of the goodies that she put in that snowball...

I think my favorite bits are the Going Postal patch and the pom pom trim. Cheesy

Thank you Casey1201!

Hi everyone Cheesy Just joined the swap. I had soooo much fun in last year's OHLS and I can't wait to get started on this year. KittyKill I have the absolute most fabulous idea for an altered tin ornament for you - alas you had already been claimed by the time I was approved for the swap. Doh! Hopefully I can catch you again when you post your next claim.

I just received a super amazing package from KerrieRou. It is okay to be jealous. She totally spoiled me. I can't believe how much she sent. Plus what she sent couldn't be more perfect. My boyfriend was impressed and that is hard to do.

I am really horrible at taking pictures, but here is what she sent.

Everything was custom-made for the likes of the person who was getting it. I thought she was just going to send a couple items, she sent a whole bunch.
My parents each got a tin (like for candy). my dad's has a picture of his dog Rosita and my mom's has a picture of us. She also sent a Detroit Lions bottlecap opener for my dad, a compact mirror with my picture on it for my mom, a keychain and magnet for my best friend, family guy magnets, magnets of our town in 1915, a whole pad of scrap booking paper, and green tic tacs (they are hard to find here). She really went above and beyond.  The magnets of our town were supposed to be gifts for some locals. But as soon as my boyfriend saw them I knew at least one would be gone. He absolutely loved them. He said there was no way we could give them away. He now has one in his area and I have the other on my mini fridge in my office ( I have a whole board of magnets, but the best ones goes in the "place of honor", which is the mini fridge).  Well, they would have made great gifts  Grin But I would say making my boyfriend that happy was even better Cheesy and I really like it too and don't want to part with it either, so I can't blame him completely  Wink

I would love to swap for things kids could do in the car on a long car trip (3 girls ages 5-12). I can knit, crochet or trade yarn.

Yep, nice catch. We call her Rosita, she calls herself "queen of the universe".

We have a Min Pin too-his name is Pete and we rescued him 3 years ago in October. They are the funniest little dogs.

Updated my wishlist as I seem to have stalled the swap temporarily. There's some nice small and easy stuff on there, I swear! And it's pretty darn long list plus there are Pinterest boards as well.

lydiaharper sent 4 lions glasses (there is 3 in the pic because 1 didn't make it). I unwrapped one to get a pic of the graphic, but as you see, we are horrible at taking pics (it doesn't help that the camera is really old). Hopefully Lydia has a better image.

Thanks lydiaharper!
