I went to send today but they wanted  a small fortune to send my package. So I brought it home to repack a different way. I'm going to try my hardest to send tomorrow. Fingers crossed!!

Stoopid paycheck delayed a week, stoopid mail costs more than I have. Have to wait til check comes (pouting like a toddler)

I'm in the NaNoWriMo boat with you... 4000-ish words to go, eek! I've never won before so I'm determined this year.

I've taken a week off from NaNoWriMo... gonna cram today & tomorrow, along with finish crafting. Eeeek! (and I need to find a couple items ... I brought them to show a friend and now can't find them!)

Cheer for me ladies! I got my 50,000 done and validated last night!!! I'm still writing more because the story isn't done but I am happy dancing all over the place today to have gotten my 50K done in a single month!

I also finished the project for Lindy that was a bit beyond my skill set, but I do believe it turned out quite nicely. Now I am down to 3 items needing finishing touches. Eek, are packages really due out tomorrow? It's going to be a busy day

I got all the finishing touches done last night and took pictures.  I need to pick up wrapping paper so I can wrap the goodies and ship tomorrow.  Oh yeah and I ummm need to make the stocking    I have everything cut, I just need to sew it all together.  Good thing my kids are at their dads this weekend so I can sew in peace!

Postage can be a nasty surprise.
I had to cut my box down by 1 in, wrapped my gifts in tissue paper, and cut down on the bubble wrap to stay under the 4lb and size restrictions for Priority Mail. I saved $15.00 by doing that. It was funny because I made the changes while in the post office. I always bring scissors and packing tape with me. The clerk was very helpful in giving me shipping advice.

Typical - my back/lower shoulder issues sorted, then baby has 24 hours miserable with viral infection (was debating a trip to a&e when temp hit 39, but baby paracetamol brought it down thankfully) followed by screaming for 2 hours in the middle of the night last night with teething I really ain't functioning well at mo, and doubt I'll make send outs tomorrow morning
On a more positive note, sewing machine worked a treat this morning (it has a habit of playing up) and stocking almost finished, one item just needs finishing, another almost finished and a third ready to go, so won't take long to finish up, and the extras are all ready for packing.

I never put a letter in these days - it cost another £7 (£21 as opposed to £14) to post a parcel with a letter in it a while ago - so no letter now!
Love the idea of unwrapping everything and cutting the box down in the post office! but $15 makes it worth it.

Went to the post office today to get a box, took it home, realized it was too small to fit everything in, went back to the post office, came home, and successfully finished putting together my package for kittykill! I'm so very excited for her to get everything, and even more excited to receive my package! Hehe. Time for one last trip to the post office tomorrow morning.
