Christmas Stocking Swap Round 8 (signup thru Sept. 21, sendout Dec. 1)

We're alive and we've got power! There's some damage in the area, but so far nothing major that I know of. Fences in other yards, etc... I'm going to hopefully find another stocking stuffer today when I treat myself to a post-hurricane coffee. Still looking for my master list of ideas. I have a feeling it's sitting on my desk at work, you know, that place that is closed today.

Sorry for my general absence from the thread.  I haven't been online much over the last couple of weeks.  Just wanted to say that I'm crafting away and will be ready to ship by the deadline, but probably not sooner.

I had to wrap a present yesterday! Fiance's gift was delivered to the house (not work, like I specified when I ordered it!!!) so I had to wrap it so he can't accidentally see what it is sometime in the next two months!

I got the stocking cut out today and went to sew it and my machine had a hissy fit.  Of course, I took it in since I'm off today and it worked perfectly.  Hopefully that keeps up when I go to sew it again ...

I've sketched out a few ideas for the stocking finally, bought a couple stuffers, and finished an item. I'm planning on finishing one more item tonight.

I'm thinking that next year I may add a note about not sending until, at the earliest, two weeks before the sendout date. What do you all think about that?

Sorry I haven't checked in for a while, but I had a bit of a bout with appendicitis recently and have been in hospital. Haven't gotten much crafting done either, but that will be changing right quick!

That seems fine to me, but how about 3 weeks for International senders? I think Canada Post ships mail via donkey and carts so it takes a while to get anywhere (especially near the holiday season)...
