Christmas Stocking Swap Round 8 (signup thru Sept. 21, sendout Dec. 1)

Hello--jumping into this swap. WE could get some snow tonight so it's feeling a little Christmasy around here!

I've decided to try something unique for the stocking and am now taking a break. After 2 failed attempts, I finally have done something workable. But now I'm not sure where to go from here. I'm so glad we have so much time.

I have started!! After some planning out/refining and the pleasant realisation that my extensive stash may contain more useful stuff than I first thought - I have started. But I also have the "I wish I could make that if only we got the supplies here in Australia". I will do the best I can with what I can get my hands on. Still a bit of time if I wanted to order OS though so all good

I bought some supplies tonight for Sevs package, Monday is my birthday, so my gift to me is some quality crafting time!

I think I'm going to stop at Michael's for some storebought items and then I should be almost done.

Tonight is going to be stocking night! Yay! My wonderful husband did the grocery run for me so I have the entire evening to do my thing.

Does anyone else have the debate of stocking cuff or no stocking cuff with themselves? I do this every time I sit down to make a stocking and I have no clue why.

Yes, i do the cuff debate too, and i ALWAYS end up putting on a cuff anyhow.  I purchased a small item, and just finished off two small crafted items. Went to a few garage sales today that were selling wrapping paper and holiday cards, so im all set!

was hoping to get the first item finished tonight, but wasn't happy with first attempt so had to start again. Much happier with second go, but not finished yet
Not started on stocking yet, but know what I would like to go, just need to work out how to do the embellishment, and get supplies.

I plan on making the stocking this weekend, though I do need to start on some other things, too.  Lots to do this weekend!

Admittedly, I haven't done anything with this swap this week.  I'm still mostly in the planning stages.  Life has just been hectic lately, and I'm doing a lot of crafting for a Halloween Party I'm hosting at my new house.  It helps that my partner likes Nightmare Before Christmas a lot, since I'm in the halloween-ish mood.
