I have most of the supplies I need, except for one item, so I have begun crafting. Starting small, but the weekend will provide more crafting time.

BTW, speaking of problems with super glue. My vet once superglued her finger to my dog's ear! My dog was not happy. The vet offered her a treat, which she took into her mouth, then spit it back out on the floor in front of the vet. I think she communicated her feelings pretty well.

My friend super glued a high heel to her carpet... The heel had fallen off and she superglued it back together. So as it dried, she smashed it down to force it together and it leaked down the heel... She didn't realize that it was enough to superglue it to the floor. I laughed and laughed. Eventually we got it un-stuck.

denorange and I are working on lists for our partners and might shop a bit over the weekend.  For anyone that doesn't know, denorange is my daughter.

Mother-daughter crafting trip! I love it! Around Christmas I sometimes make wine gift bags for my mom to use for gifts she gives as well as other stuff, so I love going to check out supplies with her. My husband is also pretty crafty, he'll stand in the paper aisle forever checking the weights and textures of papers and deciding what origami to fold with them.

I started on my stocking last night and so far I'm happy with how it's looking.  Have to hit the fabric store on my lunch break to pick up one 'thing' I don't have in my stash.

Badwolf - The super glue incident happened while I was wearing the skirt, right before a very large holiday party that I was hosting. No alcohol was involved but the skirt did not survive.

Jexx- I think supplies would be an awesome stuffer!

I finished another item for craftaddiction yesterday that came out super cute!

I ordered a few things for Averia's stocking, found some fabric in my stash I may use, but will still be shopping this weekend.

I am afraid to start leashh's stocking because I have this idea of the effect I would like to achieve and I know I won't be able to get that exact effect.  I am just hoping the effect  I do achieve is lovely in its own right. It will have to wait anyway since I will be selling gourds this weekend.

Got a couple more stuffers today and have a few items 1/2 done. Still haven't started the stocking yet.

Crafting is kind of on the side for me at the moment. It am trying to fit it in between but I am now helping plan my mother's 50th birthday/retirement party. The upside of them being at the same time is that we only have to do one party, the downside is that it better be a great one. Then right after that is done, I have to get together my present for my little sister who will be turning 21. Lots of important birthdays this month. I'm just glad I already have a plan of attack for titaniumhip's stocking so I can keep my timeline together.
