He's painted canvas w/button jointed wings and floss wrapped wire feet.

And here are a few owlets I made, inspired by Etsy seller cartbeforethehorse , a new, overweight cashmere Chibi snuck in there

Oh wow, I just saw this on Craftster's main page and recognized Bubo right away! I love it!!! I remember when my sister and I would watch Clash of the Titans late at night on t.v. in the summertime when we were kids. Oh nostalgia, lol. Great job on that, and your other plushies as well. Cheesy

I did not recognize him as bubo (not familiar with the character). I actually thought he looked like a CP30 Owl! Either way, I love him!

Thank you!
I'm not entirely happy with him, he *may* still be in progress. I was trying to recreate him from memory & google image searches but we got the movie in from netflix last night and I couldn't help but feel a little critical of him after seeing him from all angles. I think this is where I need to remember that if I want him to be more accurate, i should make a new one! He's fine, as is... and my little girls LOVE him! That's what most of my work is for these days, smiles from little girls Cheesy

Yay Bubo!

I had to click on your post when I saw him there.  Cheesy  I think you did a really nice job, especially since you said he was from memory.  Very impressive!

OMG! I love, love, love Bubo!! I love how they incorporated him into the new movie too, I thought that was so cute.  You did an excellent job.

I also love CartBeforetheHorse.  They have a wonderful blog that I follow religiously (fyi).  You did an great job interpreting their owls.
